A Shaolin Monks remaster or sequel has been a long-standing request from the community for some time, with fans enjoying how different of a Mortal Kombat title it is and wanting to see the concept evolve.
This result probably shouldn't come as too much of a surprise for the Mortal Kombat community. Ed Boon even commented on the success of the poll, with fans managing to get Shaolin Monks trending on Twitter. Although Mortal Kombat 9 garnered near 30% of the votes, Shaolin Monks easily took the led with almost 50% of all of the votes.
